Senior Physiotherapist

I qualified from the University of Brighton in 2002 and took up a post at Mid Staffordshire Hospital.  Working between Stafford and Cannock I gained experience in Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Out Patients, Respiratory and Neurology specialising as a Senior Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal Out Patients.

I joined the Friarswood team in April 2007 and enjoy the professional but friendly atmosphere. My intention is to make the most of the opportunities for further education that the clinic is keen to encourage.

Since qualifying I have undertaken various further studies including acupuncture especially myofacial pain and headaches. I have a special interest in sports injuries and feel that my 'hands on' approach results in successful treatments.

More recently I have found myself treating many backs and necks with a specific interest in the sacroiliac joint.

Outside work I enjoy most sport, playing golf, cricket and football regularly. I also umpire for my wife's hockey team. We got married in the March of 2006 and now live in Uttoxeter. She is also a Physiotherapist, specialising in Neurology.
